Ron died peacefully on 24th February, aged 71 years. Much loved husband of Margery, a dear father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends

Thoughts
Ron was both a friend and work colleague. We both started our careers in Eastern Electricity in September 1966. We both moved on working at BPI and latterly at energypeople where we both retired in December 2016. Ron was a real gentlemen always willing to help others and its been a pleasure working with him over the years. He will be missed by family, friends and work colleagues.

Ron was a highly valued colleague and friend. We worked together in Eastern, BPI and energypeople. Ron was always on top of his job technically, always willing to help others, particularly younger people at the start of their careers and always modest about his vast knowledge and skills. He will be remembered with great affection by all who knew and worked with him. We are all grateful for our time with Ron.

Ron was a kind and caring man, with a passion for electricity. He was one of my mentors when I was a graduate engineer and was always very supportive. He has certainly had a significant impact on my career.
