On behalf of our Rayleigh Electricity REA Member I am deeply saddened to hear that Ron has passed away. I have known Ron from when I started work for Eastern Electricity at the Southend office, throughout that time Ron has been a very respected expert colleague, always very cheerful and enthusiastic. He has I am sure been an inspiration to everyone he has worked with. I know he will be missed by everyone who has had the privilege to know him. I apologise that I have not written to you earlier but I have been in Australia and unfortunately will not return before the funeral. My very best wishes to you and your family, Peter Chapman
